Serra Kalkaska is seeking an Automotive Service Technician to inspect vehicles, diagnose mechanical issues, and perform repairs in a fast-paced, customer-focused setting.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, strong communication skills, and the ability to read and interpret safety rules and manuals. Training, a team-oriented environment, and opportunities for growth are offered.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required.

• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and operating instructions.

Responsibilities

• Performs work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards.
• Diagnoses the cause of malfunctions and performs repairs.
• Communicates with parts department to obtain needed parts.
• Maintains and is accountable for tools and manuals.
• Road tests vehicles when required.
• Supervises apprentices as assigned and reports safety issues promptly.
• Documents all work performed and recommended on the repair order.
