Job summary

Asbury's Infiniti of Tampa is looking for a skilled Service Technician to diagnose and repair customer vehicles, including light engine work, electrical, HVAC, and suspension systems. You will document work, communicate with advisors, and perform road tests to confirm repairs, with manufacturer certifications preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have automotive technician experience.
• Must have basic tools.
• Must have great technical and mechanical skills.
• Must be a team player and able to work on complex tasks repeatedly.
• Must be minimum 18 years old and have a valid driver’s license.
• Must pass pre-employment screening (background & drug test).
• ASE certifications heavily preferred; Manufacturer certifications heavily preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine repairs and diagnostics on customer vehicles.
• Document all work performed and communicate with service advisor for needed or pending work.
• Conduct road tests to verify repairs when necessary.
• Maintain technician proficiency per Asbury standards.
• Complete warranty repair orders and file warranty claims.
• Ensure vehicles are returned clean and safe after service.
