Job summary

Gilchrist Automotive is seeking a dedicated Technician to diagnose mechanical issues, perform multi-point inspections, and complete warranty repairs with a focus on safety and guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities include servicing transmissions, A/C systems, and engine components, delivering vehicles on time, and maintaining meticulous inspection notes. A valid license, 18+ years old, and dealership exposure are preferred; ASE credentials are a plus.

Qualifications

• Full-time availability.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• 2–3 years of dealership experience is a plus.
• Automotive school or program completion recommended.
• ASE certificates a plus.
• Dedication to safety and serving guests.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose mechanical issues and fix them correctly the first time.
• Administer multi-point inspections and warranty repairs.
• Service transmissions, A/C, engine mounts, timing belts, and more.
• Replace radiators and head gaskets.
• Deliver guests’ cars on time, every time.
• Take detailed notes during and after inspections.
• Keep workstation clean at all times.
• Create and maintain loyal service guest relationships.
