Job summary

Gipson’s Tire & Auto is a full-service auto repair shop with locations in Montgomery, Millbrook, and Prattville, AL, plus Columbus, GA, and Flowood, MS. We are seeking an Automotive General Service Technician to perform essential maintenance tasks, tire services, and inspections to keep customers safe on the road.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of automotive systems.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Experience with PC-based diagnostic tools is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Mount, balance, and install tires with precision.
• Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, fluid flushes, replacements, belts and hoses, battery testing and installation.
• Conduct thorough visual inspections and document findings.
• Keep shop equipment clean and functional; service portable fluid drains per protocols.
• Grow automotive knowledge and skills for career development.
• Assist with other duties to support shop operations.
