Job summary

Olson Chevrolet of Hutchinson is seeking a motivated automotive technician to join our service department. Experience is preferred but we will consider all qualified applicants.

Responsibilities include diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicle systems, test-driving, using diagnostic tools, and communicating with the Service Advisor on estimates.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required or preferred.
• ASE certifications are preferred or current.
• Experience at an automotive dealership is preferred.
• Strong understanding of the service drive and customer service.
• Ability to learn new technology and repair procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform work on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership.
• Test-drive vehicles and test components using diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle systems including engine, transmission, brakes, electrical, etc.
• Communicate with Service Advisor regarding additional services and time estimates.
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
