Group1 Automotive, Inc. is seeking GM Mainline Mechanics and Express Lube Technicians in Columbus, Georgia. This role comes with a $2,000 sign-on bonus and offers the best work schedule with early and late shifts available. The ideal candidates should have experience or education in automotive skills and be willing to provide GM certifications after a year of employment. Qualifications

Qualifications

• Two years of GM automotive technician or mechanic experience is a PLUS!
• Automotive technical or trade school degree
• National Institute of Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certification(s) or certification(s) in: brakes, electrical/electronic systems or engine performance preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license in the state and good driving record
• *Must be able to provide GM certifications. Bonus paid out over 1 year of employment.*

All applicants must pass pre-employment testing to include background checks, MVR, and drug testing in order to qualify for employment.
