Qualifications

• 3+ years as an automotive service technician
• 2+ years of dealership experience (Ford dealership preferred)
• Proficiency with Ford diagnostic systems (IDS, FDRS)
• Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electrical issues on Ford vehicles using Ford IDS and diagnostic tools
• Perform advanced repairs including engine work, transmission diagnostics, and hybrid/EV system troubleshooting
• Complete warranty repairs according to Ford service standards and technical bulletins
• Provide accurate repair estimates and communicate clearly with Service Advisors and customers
• Train and mentor entry‑level technicians
• Program vehicle software and perform module updates per Ford specifications
• Perform quality inspections and road tests on completed repairs
• Document all work accurately in the dealership management system
• Keep pace with Ford product updates and new technologies
