Job summary

Anderson Auto Group is seeking a service technician to perform bumper-to-bumper service and repairs for customer vehicles. The role requires 2–5 years in automotive tech, a high school diploma or GED, and a valid U.S. driver’s license.

ASE certification is preferred but not required, with emphasis on safety, teamwork, and high-quality workmanship. The technician will diagnose, service, and repair a range of systems, including brakes, steering, exhaust, cooling, and drivability concerns.

Qualifications

• 2 to 5 years’ experience in automotive technician role.
• High School or GED preferred.
• ASE certification preferred but not required.
• Valid U.S. Drivers License with clean driving history.
• Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies and processes.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Perform bumper-to-bumper service and repairs on customer vehicles.
• Conduct maintenance services including oil changes, fluid exchanges, filters, and belts.
• Perform diagnostic evaluations including emissions, drivability, and electrical issues.
• Collaborate with service team to ensure timely completion of repairs.
• Adhere to safety standards and keep workspace clean and organized.
• Provide excellent customer service and communicate progress to service advisor.
• Submit accurate parts requests and update on delays or additional work.
• Keep paperwork complete after each job and maintain current qualifications.
