Job summary

Greulich's Automotive Repair is hiring a General Service Technician in Mesa, AZ. The role covers non-technical automotive service repairs such as oil changes, tire and wheel services, and light maintenance. You may also drive customers, pick up parts, and help keep the shop clean as needed.

Compensation starts at $15.15/hr and up, depending on experience. A tool and boot program is provided—own them after one year of continuous employment.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver’s license
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• General understanding of under the hood, mechanical and under carriage assemblies is preferred

Responsibilities

• Performs tire mounting/dismounting, wheel balance and tire rotation.
• Performs oil changes and other basic services
• Document vehicle condition using the Multi-point Inspection and/or Repair Order
• Maintain cleanliness of the shop and service area
• Drive vehicles safely and courteously as needed
• Transport customers and parts as required
• Conduct State Safety and Emission Inspections where applicable
• Follow safety procedures and company policies
• Flexible schedules including weekends as needed
