Fordham Toyota is seeking an Automotive Service Technician to diagnose, service, and repair vehicles with a strong emphasis on customer satisfaction. Ideal candidates will have ASE certification and a high school diploma, plus experience with warranty work, diagnostics, and routine maintenance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• ASE certification required.
• Technical or trade school degree preferred.
• Experience in warranty and non-warranty inspections, diagnostic, maintenance, and repair service on various vehicle makes and models.
• Outstanding communication and customer-service skills.
• Valid State driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot vehicle concerns using provided tools.
• Provide courteous service to all customers.
• Assist as secondary greeter in the drive area.
• Stay updated with service publications and operations.
• Ensure safe, first-time quality service.
• Address original concerns before new sales.
• Inspect vehicles for additional sales opportunities.
• Return vehicles clean or cleaner than arrival.
• Participate in factory or in-house training.
• Complete paperwork accurately and attach required forms.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Service Manager.
