Job summary

Key Auto Group is seeking a motivated Dealership Service Technician for Key Ford of Rockland in Thomaston, ME. The role offers a pathway for career growth within the organization and emphasizes promoting from within as you advance.

Positions pay up to a $50.00 flat rate, contingent on experience and certifications. You will work in a high-volume shop with opportunities to develop expertise and advance with the team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; ASE certification required.
• 2+ years of service technician experience preferred.
• B level qualifications, including Diagnostic, Electrical, and Engine Repair.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with the dealership standards.
• Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers are informed if any additional service is needed. Provide an estimate of the time needed for additional repairs
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
