Job summary

Key Auto Group is hiring a Dealership Service Technician at Key CDJR of Newcastle in Newcastle, ME. The role offers a flat rate pay up to $50.00 per hour, with growth opportunities based on experience and certifications.

The technician will perform repairs per repair orders, test-drive vehicles, diagnose and service automotive systems, and communicate estimates and additional needs to the Service Advisor. ASE certification and a valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Service Technician experience preferred.
• ASE Certification required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• B level qualifications: Diagnostic, Electrical, and Engine Repair.
• Dexterity and troubleshooting skills with diagnostic equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with the dealership standards
• Test-drive vehicles and test components and systems using diagnostic tools and equipment
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, A/C
• Communicate with the Service Advisor about additional service needs and provide time estimates
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications
