Job summary

AAA seeks an automotive technician to perform oil changes, lubrication, tire repairs and installations for member and nonmember vehicles. The role includes assisting senior technicians, test driving for drivability issues, and maintaining a clean, safe shop environment.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, and at least six months’ general repair or lube experience. Some travel to other locations may be required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record required.
• 6 months experience in general repair, lube services or tire shop preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs oil changes and lubrication service for member and nonmember vehicles.
• Performs tire repairs and installation service for member and nonmember vehicles.
• Assists upper level technicians as needed for experience.
• Test drives vehicles to verify performance before repairs are performed.
• Maintains clean and safe work environment and equipment.
• Follows safety rules and reports unsafe conditions to supervisor.
• Attends required training and completes at least 12 hours of auto repair training annually.
