Job summary

AAA Club Alliance seeks an Automotive General Service Technician to perform tire mounting, balancing, and routine maintenance while delivering quality service to customers. The role offers access to modern equipment, ongoing training, and opportunities to advance within AAA’s automotive shops.

You will work a full-time schedule, with weekdays and weekend rotations as needed, and benefit from paid training, ASE certifications, and a path toward higher-level technician roles.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Previous automotive technician experience.
• A valid driver’s license with an excellent driving record and the ability to operate passenger vehicles and light/medium-duty trucks with automatic and manual transmissions.
• Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time and lift up to 75 lbs.
• Ability to complete satisfactory Pre-Employment Screenings (background check, drug screening, occupational physical assessment) if offered the position.
• Authorized to work in the USA.

Responsibilities

• Mount, balance, and install tires; maintain knowledge of general automotive skills, and continue to develop additional technical skills, to enable flexibility in work assignments.
• Perform repairs: fluid flush and replacement, visual vehicle inspection, belt and hose replacement, battery testing and replacement, and general automotive repairs.
• Clean and maintain test equipment and machines; manage drains and waste per shop guidelines.
