Automotive Sales Consultant

Are you interested in selling automobiles known for their quality, reliability, and beauty? We are seeking sales professionals to join our dealership. If you believe that being a Sales Consultant requires charisma, communication skills, and thorough product knowledge (training provided), we want to hear from you!

As a Sales Consultant, your responsibilities include managing all sales activities, generating and managing leads, and contributing to our ongoing success.

Responsibilities:
  1. Greet customers on the sales floor and perform needs analysis to determine vehicle preferences.
  2. Explain vehicle features and demonstrate operation in showroom or on road.
  3. Research model availability and optional equipment using our database.
  4. Negotiate sales price, including taxes, trade-in allowances, licensing, discounts, and financing or lease options with Sales and F&I Managers.
  5. Inspect inventory visually and walk the lot.
  6. Complete paperwork and coordinate vehicle delivery and registration.
  7. Familiarize customers with their new vehicle.
  8. Attend required training and departmental meetings.
  9. Maintain regular and predictable attendance.

Preferred qualifications include being bilingual, with at least one year of related experience or equivalent education. Strong sales, communication, and customer service skills are essential. Organizational skills and thorough follow-up are necessary to maintain client relationships before and after sales. A valid driver’s license is required. Basic mathematical skills are also necessary.
