Shottenkirk Chevrolet Buick GMC Fort Madison is actively hiring Automotive Service Technicians of all experience levels. Earn $50,000-$100,000+ per year with production bonuses and up to $12,000 in GM training incentives.

Mansioni

• Perform routine maintenance including oil changes, tire rotations, fluid services, and multi-point inspections.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair automotive systems including engines, transmissions, brakes, steering, suspension, HVAC, and electrical systems.
• Perform manufacturer-recommended maintenance and warranty repairs.
• Use diagnostic equipment to identify vehicle concerns and communicate recommendations to Service Advisors.
• Complete repair orders accurately and efficiently; maintain a clean, safe work environment.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities will vary based on experience level and may include:

• Perform routine maintenance including oil changes, tire rotations, fluid services, and multi‑point inspections
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair automotive systems including engines, transmissions, brakes, steering, suspension, HVAC, and electrical systems
• Perform manufacturer‑recommended maintenance and warranty repairs
• Use diagnostic equipment to accurately identify vehicle concerns
• Communicate repair recommendations with Service Advisors
• Complete repair orders accurately and efficiently
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Follow manufacturer repair procedures and dealership quality standards
• Continuously develop technical skills through factory and dealership training

Qualifications

• Previous automotive repair experience is preferred, but entry‑level candidates are encouraged to apply
• ASE certifications, GM certifications, or OEM training are a plus
• Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced team environment
• Excellent problem‑solving and diagnostic skills
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Must be authorized to work in the United States
