Qualifications

Technician Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair a wide variety of complex automotive systems, including EV, Diesel, and Gas Engines, Suspension, Transmission, Electrical, and Onboard Computer Systems.
• Accurately diagnose, repair, and verify completion and quality of work, striving to "Fix it right the first time".
• Complete Repair Order Documentation following manufacturer standards, including the 3 C’s and timestamps.
• Review vehicle history files and promote sales of labor and parts as needed.
• Test-drive vehicles and components, utilizing diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
• Perform thorough multi-point inspections and prepare repair quotes, including labor and parts.
• Explain diagnoses and repairs in a non-technical manner to clients when necessary.
• Stay updated with new technical information, techniques, and continue training.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum of two years of experience as an Automotive Service Technician (GM preferred but not required).
• EV and Diesel experience is a plus.
• Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certifications.
• Ongoing factory/ASE training.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Maintain essential tools.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment.
• Positive attitude, teamwork, and respect for others.
• Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced, team-oriented environment with a focus on customer service.
• Knowledge of shop equipment such as wheel and tire machines, alignment systems, diagnostic tools, and AC equipment.
