Job description

Joseph Auto group has been selling and servicing vehicles in the Cincinnati, Ohio, Columbus, Ohio, and Dayton, Ohio areas for many years. Responsibilities
  1. Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership policies.
  2. Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
  3. Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
  4. Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers are informed if any additional service is needed. Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs.
  5. Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
Qualifications
  1. 2+ years of Service Technician experience preferred.
  2. High school diploma or equivalent, ASE Certification required.
  3. B level qualifications, including Diagnostic, Electrical, and Engine Repair.
  4. Dexterity, requiring a steady hand, excellent hand-eye coordination.
  5. Mechanical and troubleshooting skills and ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment.
  6. Excellent customer service skills and basic computer competencies.
  7. Positive, friendly attitude, along with an eagerness to improve.
  8. Enjoy working in a dynamic environment.
  9. Teammate with ability to collaborate with others effectively.
  10. Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specifications.
  11. Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
