Job summary

Socket.dev in Springfield, MO is seeking automotive technicians to join a family‑owned shop with a four‑ten‑hour day schedule and a generous vacation plan.

You'll work at a flat‑rate compensation model with support, state‑of‑the‑art equipment, and opportunities for training and growth. Honda/Acura experience is preferred; we provide extensive training and a comprehensive benefits package, including holidays and 401K match.

Qualifications

• Must have Honda/Acura experience.
• Provide your own tools.
• Valid driver’s license in good standing.
• Preferred MVI license.

Responsibilities

• Knowledge in all aspects of automotive repair and maintenance.
• Perform work specified on repair orders with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards.
• Tests components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
• Diagnoses, maintains and repairs vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning.
• Communicates directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed.
• Executes repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
• Maintain shop special tools and equipment and return when jobs are completed.

Requirements:

• Maintain Bay in an orderly manner
• Ensures that customer vehicles are kept clean and undamaged
