Job summary

Toyota of Santa Barbara is seeking an experienced Service Technician to join our busy shop. The role offers flexible hours with both part-time and full-time opportunities and potential for high earnings.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma, ASE certifications, and at least 5 years of auto repair experience, along with strong customer service and communication skills. Toyota certifications are a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• ASE certifications preferred.
• Toyota certifications a plus.
• At least 5 years of experience as an auto technician.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Computer skills and willingness to learn new problems.
• Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership policies.
• Test drive vehicles, and test components and systems.
• Maintain and repair vehicle automotive systems
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed
• Provide estimates of time needed for additional repairs
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications

Service Technician Responsibilities:
