We have several immediate positions available for all levels of experience Service Technicians to join our growing team at our Chevrolet dealership on West Liberty Ave in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. All candidates must possess a technical skill set, professional mindset, and dependability. Dealership experience is a plus but not required. Responsibilities:
- Perform work specified on the repair order efficiently, adhering to dealership and industry standards
- Test-drive vehicles and test components using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
- Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
- Communicate directly with the Service Advisor regarding additional services, estimates, and repair plans, prioritizing safety and professionalism
- Execute warranty repairs according to manufacturer specifications, following Warranty Administrator guidance
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of Service Technician experience required
- PA State Inspection and Emissions licenses
- General Motors experience and training is a plus but not required
- High school diploma or equivalent
- ASE Certifications are a plus but not required
- B level qualifications, including diagnostic, electrical, and engine repair
- Dexterity, steady hand, excellent hand-eye coordination, and repair planning skills
- Mechanical troubleshooting skills and ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
- Excellent customer service skills and basic computer skills
- Positive, friendly attitude with eagerness to earn a great income
- Ability to collaborate effectively as a team member and contribute to professionalism
- Ability to adapt and learn new technology, procedures, and specifications
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; responsible for operating customer vehicles professionally
