Job summary

Ozark Chevrolet, a trusted hometown dealership serving the Ozarks since 1923, is seeking Service Technicians of all levels to join our team. Our brand-new service center features OEM diagnostic tech, modern shop equipment, and air-conditioned facilities.

Responsibilities include diagnosing, repairing, and inspecting vehicles, communicating with Service Advisors, and performing GM-guided warranty work. Training and advancement are offered, with competitive pay commensurate with experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Willingness to complete a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
• Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills and ability to operate diagnostic equipment.

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain automotive systems including engines, transmissions, brakes, steering, suspension, electrical, and HVAC.
• Perform work specified on repair orders efficiently and accurately, following Chevrolet dealership standards.
• Conduct inspections on new and used vehicles to ensure safety and quality.
• Test-drive vehicles and utilize advanced diagnostic equipment to identify issues.
• Communicate with Service Advisors about repair status, estimates, and customer recommendations.
• Execute warranty repairs and recall work according to GM guidelines.

Our brand-new, state-of-the-art service center is opening soon — equipped with the latest OEM diagnostic technology, modern shop equipment, and high-quality technician amenities. And yes, it is a fully air-conditioned facility!

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain automotive systems including engines, transmissions, brakes, steering, suspension, electrical, and HVAC.
• Perform work specified on repair orders efficiently and accurately, following Chevrolet dealership standards.
• Conduct inspections on new and used vehicles to ensure safety and quality.
• Test-drive vehicles and utilize advanced diagnostic equipment to identify issues.
• Communicate with Service Advisors about repair status, estimates, and customer recommendations.
• Execute warranty repairs and recall work according to GM guidelines.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as an automotive technician, auto mechanic, or dealership service tech preferred - all levels encouraged to apply.
• Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment and follow repair procedures.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Positive attitude, strong teamwork skills, and customer-first mindset.
• Willingness to complete a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
