Job Summary: The Certified Service Technician at Prestige Ford in Mt. Dora, Florida is a skilled and experienced individual responsible for maintaining, repairing, and servicing vehicles in accordance with dealership and manufacturer standards. This position works independently as an individual contributor and is a vital part of our team, delivering impeccable service to our customers.

Compensation & Benefits: This is a full-time, salaried position with a competitive compensation package ranging from $50,000 to $140,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, which includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, and retirement plans.

Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic tests and vehicle inspections to identify potential issues
- Recommend and perform necessary repairs and maintenance in accordance with manufacturer standards
- Repair and replace vehicle components such as engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems
- Utilize diagnostic equipment and technical manuals to troubleshoot and resolve complex mechanical issues
- Keep accurate records of all work performed and maintain a clean and organized work area
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with customers and addressing any concerns they may have
- Stay up-to-date with the latest automotive technology and complete required training and certifications to maintain Master Certification status

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Certified Technician status fromASE and/or manufacturer certifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Certified Technician in a dealership setting
- Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time
- Strong communication and customer service skills
