Capital Automotive Group is seeking Automotive Service Technicians of all experience levels to join our growing teams in Monroe, NC. Whether you are just starting your automotive career or have experience, we want to meet you and help you grow with a team that values your skills and potential.

Technicians will diagnose, maintain, and repair systems, use diagnostic tools, perform warranty work, and communicate with Service Advisors to deliver an exceptional customer experience.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, maintain, and repair automotive systems with accuracy and efficiency.
• Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and resolve vehicle concerns.
• Test-drive vehicles and test components as needed.
• Communicate with Service Advisors regarding repairs and additional service needs.
• Provide accurate estimates of time for repairs.
• Complete warranty repairs per manufacturer specs.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment.
• Work collaboratively with team to deliver an exceptional customer experience.

What You'll Be Doing

• Diagnose, maintain, and repair automotive systems with accuracy and efficiency.

• Perform work outlined on repair orders according to dealership and manufacturer standards.

• Use diagnostic tools and specialized equipment to identify and resolve vehicle concerns.

• Test-drive vehicles and test components and systems as needed.

• Communicate with Service Advisors regarding recommended repairs and additional service needs.

• Provide accurate estimates of time needed for additional repairs.

• Complete warranty repairs according to manufacturer specifications.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

• Work as part of a collaborative team to deliver an exceptional customer experience.

• Take on additional responsibilities as needed.

What We're Looking For

• Technicians of all experience levels — from entry-level to highly experienced.

• Automotive training, education, or previous technician experience is a plus, but not required for every position.

• Knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance appropriate to your level of experience.

• A willingness to learn, grow, and develop your technical skills.

• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical concerns.

• Comfortable learning and using electronic diagnostic equipment and technology.

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

• Positive attitude and team-first mindset.

• Excellent attention to detail and pride in your work.

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

• Ability to successfully complete required pre-employment screenings.
