Job summary

Hocking Valley Motors in Logan, OH is seeking an experienced Automotive Technician to join our service team. The role offers hourly pay on a flat-rate basis with strong earning potential and a steady workload focused on internal inventory and reconditioning.

You will diagnose, repair, and service vehicles, reading wiring diagrams and using diagnostic equipment. A valid driver’s license and the ability to work independently are required.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of automotive repair experience preferred.
• Strong diagnostic and mechanical repair skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a flat-rate environment.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and technical information.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues.
• Perform complete vehicle inspections and identify needed repairs.
• Complete brake, suspension, steering, driveline, and other mechanical repairs.
• Perform routine maintenance and fluid services.
• Diagnose electrical concerns using schematics and diagnostic equipment.
• Diagnose diesel repairs when needed and within your skill set.
• Accurately document completed repairs.
• Work efficiently to keep vehicles moving through the shop.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

Pay: $18.00- $30.00 per hour

Automotive Technician – Flat Rate

Pay: $18.00 –$30.00 per flat-rate hour, based on experience and skill level

Hocking Valley Motorsis looking for an experienced Automotive Technician to join our growing service team.

This is a great opportunity for a productive flat-rate technician looking for consistent work and strong earning potential. Our current workload is heavily focused on internal inventory and reconditioning, providing technicians with a steady flow of vehicles to keep work moving through the shop.There are no manufacturer certification requirements or ongoing OEM training requirements, allowing you to focus on diagnosing, repairing, and producing quality work.

What You'll Do

• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues
