Livermore Ford and Lincoln is looking for an Automotive Service Technician to join our growing team. The right candidate will have a service technician background with over 2 years of experience and will perform work on repair orders and diagnose what repairs are needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of automotive service technician experience required.
• ASE certifications or OEM Certification a plus.
• Proficiency in brakes, suspension, HVAC, and drivability diagnostics.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license with a safe driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform a broad range of vehicle repairs, including brakes, suspension, HVAC systems, and basic drivability concerns.
• Assist in diagnosing and troubleshooting electrical and mechanical issues with guidance from senior technicians.
• Work with Service Advisors and the Parts Department to ensure timely completion of repairs.
• Complete routine maintenance services, including fluid changes, alignments, and filter replacements.
• Document repair work accurately on the Repair Order.
• Continue ongoing training to advance technical skills and achieve Ford STST certifications.
