Job summary

Qualifications

• ASE certification preferred; actively pursuing certification encouraged
• Experience as automotive technician in dealership or shop setting
• Proficiency with diagnostic tools; brand-specific experience a plus
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record
• Ability to manage multiple repair orders in fast-paced environment
• Own a set of personal hand tools (specialty tools provided by dealership)

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic vehicle systems accurately
• Perform scheduled maintenance, inspections, and warranty repairs per manufacturer guidelines
• Complete repair orders thoroughly and legibly, documenting parts used and time spent
• Communicate clearly with service advisors regarding vehicle status and required repairs
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized workstation in compliance with OSHA standards
• Participate in ongoing training to stay current with evolving technology
• Mentor and support apprentice technicians as needed
