Job summary

Lithia & Driveway is seeking an experienced Automotive Technician for an on-site Houston position. The role involves diagnosing and repairing engine, electrical, suspension, steering, and drivability systems, following manufacturer procedures and repair orders.

You will perform multipoint inspections, document findings, and road-test to verify repairs, while maintaining up-to-date training and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Automotive repair experience (on-the-job).
• Knowledge of engine, electrical, suspension, steering, brake, and drivability systems.
• 1+ years using diagnostic equipment and manufacturer repair procedures.
• Strong documentation and repair order accuracy.
• Current automotive technical training or certifications.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose vehicle concerns and identify mechanical and electrical issues.
• Perform diagnostics and repairs on engine, electrical, suspension, steering, brake and drivability systems.
• Complete maintenance and repairs according to repair orders and manufacturer procedures.
