Job summary

Anderson Auto Group CDJR in Grand Island, NE is seeking a skilled Automotive Service Technician to join our team and advance in a growing dealership environment. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicle systems, test-drive vehicles, and collaborate with the Service Advisor to inform customers about additional needed work and timelines.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems.
• Communicate with the Service Advisor to inform customers of additional needed services and provide time estimates.
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF AUTOMOTIVE TECHNICIANS:

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership
• Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
• Diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicle automotive systems
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed. Providing an estimate of time needed for additional repairs

• Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications
