Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order efficiently, following dealership policies and procedures.
• Test-drive vehicles and test components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor to keep customers informed of any additional services needed.
• Provide estimates of time required for additional repairs.
• Execute repairs under warranty according to manufacturer specifications.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5+ years of Service Technician experience required
• ASE Certification required
• Level A qualifications, including Diagnostic, Electrical, and Engine Repair
• Broad knowledge of new vehicle technologies
• Ambitious, hardworking, and team-oriented attitude
• Basic computer skills
• Positive, friendly attitude with a customer service mindset
• Ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment
• Ability to learn new technology, repair, and service procedures and specifications
• Proficient in operating electronic diagnostic equipment
• High school diploma or GED minimum
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
