• Pay: $22.00 plus per hour

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order efficiently and in accordance with dealership standards.
• Test-drive vehicles and test components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor to inform customers if additional services are needed and provide estimates for repair times.
• Perform used car inspections and reconditioning to company standards.
• Perform preventative maintenance.
• Execute repairs under extended warranty policies.

Qualifications

• General understanding of automobiles.
• Effective analytical and communication skills with eagerness to improve.
• Ability to learn new technology, repair, and service procedures and specifications.
• Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment.
• At least one year of experience as a service technician.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
