Job Description

We are currently seeking a Ford Certified Service Technician to join our growing service department. This position is ideal for a motivated technician with a strong mechanical background and current or prior experience working in a Ford dealership environment. From diagnostics to repairs and customer communication, you'll play a vital role in delivering the high-quality service our customers have come to expect.

Job Type & Schedule

Job Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday – Friday, rotating Saturdays
Pay: Based on experience and certifications

Responsibilities

• Perform work as outlined on repair orders with efficiency and accuracy

• Diagnose and repair a wide range of vehicle systems including engine, transmission, suspension, steering, brakes, HVAC, and electrical

• Test-drive vehicles to verify repairs and diagnose issues

• Use diagnostic tools and special service equipment to identify problems and determine appropriate repair solutions

• Communicate directly with service advisors about repair needs and time estimates

• Complete warranty repairs according to manufacturer guidelines

• Maintain a clean, organized work environment and follow all safety protocols

• Stay current with training and certification requirements

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as a Service Technician preferred

• Ford Certification required or willingness to complete Ford training

• Previous Ford dealership experience is a strong plus

• Strong diagnostic skills, including B-level capabilities in engine, electrical, and drivability

• Excellent mechanical aptitude and steady hand/hand-eye coordination

• Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to use electronic diagnostic tools

• Excellent customer service and communication skills

• Professional attitude and eagerness to improve

• Team-oriented with the ability to collaborate effectively

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
