Job summary

Anderson Automotive Group in Maryland is seeking an Automotive Technician/Mechanic to diagnose and repair a broad range of vehicle systems, from routine maintenance to engines and transmissions. You will follow safety policies, use factory guidelines, and communicate with teammates and service advisors to complete work efficiently.

We value teamwork, offer ongoing training and opportunities for advancement, and require 2+ years of experience or relevant ASE/GM/Honda certifications.

Qualifications

• 2+ years' experience or ASE's or GM Certifications or Honda Certification or equivalent training
• Maryland State Inspector a plus
• Flexible and team oriented
• Efficient automotive knowledge as well as familiarity with various shop and diagnostic equipment
• Valid driver's license
• Have your own tools

Responsibilities

• Ability to diagnose and repair various Automotive systems including, but not limited to, maintenance, engine, transmissions, steering systems, brakes, suspensions, heating and air conditioning, etc.
• Comply with company Safety Policies.
• Follow Factory guidelines to efficiently and safely complete the assigned maintenance and repair work.
• Communicate with Team Members, Service Advisors, and the Shop Foreman regarding the status and completion of work performed.
• Willingness to learn new technical procedures and information.
