Healey Brothers is seeking a Certified Automotive Service Technician for our CDJR team in Beacon, NY. The role focuses on diagnosing and repairing vehicles, managing repair orders, and ensuring high-quality service delivery to customers.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Service Technician experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent, ASE/Stellantis Certification preferred.
• Previous dealership experience preferred.
• B level qualifications, including Diagnostic, Electrical and Engine Repair.
• Dexterity with steady hand and good hand-eye coordination.
• Mechanical and troubleshooting skills with electronic diagnostic equipment.
• Excellent customer service skills and basic computer competencies.
• Positive, friendly attitude with eagerness to improve.
• Enjoy working in a dynamic environment and collaborate well with others.
• Ability to learn new technology, repair procedures and specifications.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership.
• Test-drive vehicles and test components using diagnostic tools and service equipment.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and A/C.
• Communicate with the Service Advisor regarding additional services and provide time estimates.
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.

About the Role

We are looking for a Certified Service Technician to join our CDJR team in Beacon, NY! The right candidate will have a strong service technician background. The day-to-day duties include performing work on specific repair orders and diagnosing what repairs need to be done.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership
• Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers are informed if any additional service is needed. Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications

Qualifications

• Previous experience at a dealership is preferred
