Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and dependable Automotive Service Technician to join our growing service department. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical skills and the ability to diagnose and repair a wide range of vehicle issues. You'll perform maintenance, inspections, and repairs while contributing to a high-quality service experience for our valued customers.

Job Type & Schedule

  • Job Type: Full-Time

  • Schedule: Monday to Friday (with some Saturday work)

Work Requirements:

  • Ability to Commute: Morganton, NC (Required)

  • Work Location: In person

Responsibilities:

  • Perform vehicle maintenance and repair work according to dealership and manufacturer standards

  • Diagnose vehicle issues using diagnostic tools and testing equipment

  • Communicate with service advisors and customers regarding repairs needed and time estimates

  • Complete warranty work in accordance with manufacturer guidelines

  • Conduct test drives to ensure repairs were successful

  • Maintain accurate records of work performed

  • Keep work area clean, safe, and organized

  • Collaborate with fellow technicians and service team members

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of automotive technician experience preferred

  • High school diploma or equivalent; ASE certification preferred

  • Ford certification a plus

  • Strong mechanical aptitude and diagnostic ability

  • Familiarity with electronic diagnostic equipment and tools

  • Proficiency in Reynolds and Reynolds

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills

  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record

  • Must supply own tools
