Job Description
As an Automotive Service Technician at Freeway Ford, you’ll be responsible for performing quality repairs and maintenance on customer vehicles, diagnosing issues accurately, and staying up to date with the latest Ford technologies and service standards. This role plays a vital part in our commitment to providing exceptional service and building customer trust.
Job Type & Schedule
Full-Time
Monday–Friday
8-Hour Shifts
No Weekends, Evenings, or Holidays
Responsibilities
Efficiently and accurately perform repairs and maintenance per dealership and factory standards
Use diagnostic tools to assess and document vehicle issues
Perform road tests to verify repairs
Maintain compliance with all company safety standards
Stay current with evolving automotive technology through formal training
Complete required Ford STARS training
Represent the company with professionalism and a customer-first mindset
Qualifications
Experience: Minimum of 1 year of hands-on automotive repair in a professional shop
Education: High school diploma or equivalent required
Certifications: Ford STARS certifications or ASE equivalents
Tools: Must own a complete set of automotive tools and toolbox
License: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record required
Technical Skills: Strong ability to diagnose mechanical and electrical systems using modern diagnostic equipment
Customer Service: Professional attitude with strong communication and interpersonal skills
Work Ethic: Reliable, detail-oriented, and eager to grow in a fast-paced shop environment
