Job summary

LaFontaine Automotive Group is seeking an Automotive Service Porter to maintain a clean, organized service vehicle area and help keep the shop and lot in order. The role supports technicians, greets customers, and adheres to safety and uniform standards.

No retail experience is required; a high school diploma is nice but not mandatory. The company offers a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for growth within a family-oriented culture.

Qualifications

• Current, valid driver’s license; satisfactory MVR required.
• Ability to complete tasks on your own as well as with a team.
• Good work ethic, organized, and positive attitude are a must.

Responsibilities

• Keep the service vehicle lot neat and orderly, moving cars as directed by management and in accordance with facility display standards.
• Clean the service department drive, write up area and shop.
• Keep service vehicles clean as directed by management.
• Clean interior and exterior of vehicles, including trunks and glove compartments.
• Wash service customer vehicles using cleaning solution, water, cloths, and brushes.
• Clean engine to remove grease and other materials.
• Assist technicians with keeping the service department clean and organized.
• Greet customers immediately in a courteous and friendly manner.
• Wear company approved uniform.
• Parking vehicles from service.
• Drive shuttle.
• Follow OSHA right-to-know training.
