Job summary

Sheehy Auto Stores is seeking a Service Lot Porter to greet customers and keep the lot and vehicles in excellent condition. You will ensure keys are secured, assist with vehicle preparation, and uphold high safety and customer-service standards at our Virginia locations.

Starting pay is $16.85/hour with benefits including health, vision, and dental insurance, paid training, and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license for at least 3 years.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding goals.
• Authorized to work in the USA.
• Must pass pre-employment checks including background, MVR, and drug tests.

Responsibilities

• Installs seat, steering wheel, floor protection, and key tags on vehicles taken in for service.
• Ensures vehicle keys are returned and lots are secure (locked, windows up).
• Follows company policies and informs supervisor of any issues.
• Keeps engaged with management and teammates to foster good client relations and repeat business.
• Communicates any concerns to management immediately.

As the Service Lot Porter, you will utilize your skills in greeting customers, ensuring the vehicles are kept in excellent condition at all times, and the lot is well-maintained, so our customers are impressed when they first enter our locations.

Responsibilities

• Installs seat, steering wheel, floor protection, and key tags in all vehicles taken in for service.
• Ensures that all vehicle keys are returned to the appropriate location; ensures that all vehicles in the lot(s) are locked, with the windows rolled up, and keys securely stored.
• Follows all company policies and procedures. Informs the supervisor of any illegal activity
• Consistently remains engaged with management, team leads, fellow team members, and processes to foster successful working relationships with all internal and external Clients; consistently maintains follow-up systems that encourage repeat and referral business and contribute to Client satisfaction.
• Immediately communicates with management whenever a concern or situation arises.

Requirements

Must have held a valid driver’s license for a minimum of three (3) years.
