Job Overview

This brand-new, state-of-the-art facility is scheduled to open in September 2025. Interviews will begin in July 2025.

As a Service Manager with Christian Brothers Automotive, you are the person our guests look to when they need help with their vehicle. You are the face our guests see when they make an investment in their vehicle. Because of this, you play a crucial role in building relationships with our guests. Our Service Managers are responsible for guiding guests through the repair process, keeping them informed about their vehicle's status, and ensuring their satisfaction before they leave our facility.

The Service Manager oversees all aspects of daily operations, including sales activities, staff management, quality control, guest satisfaction, revenue, profit margins, and other goals set by the Owner. All office and shop personnel report directly to the Service Manager.

Hiring Locations
Responsibilities
  • Manage office and shop personnel and daily operations
  • Follow and enforce all company policies and procedures as outlined in the Employee Handbook
  • Take corrective and disciplinary actions when necessary
  • Ensure quality of work, attitude, and performance meet guest satisfaction goals
  • Maintain organized and smooth store operations
  • Maintain a positive attitude and effective communication at all times
  • Develop estimates and work orders
  • Guide Service Writers in guest estimates and work order development and assign tasks to technicians
  • Ensure the use of quality parts
  • Achieve target profit margins
  • Open and close the store daily
  • Perform daily accounting procedures, including closing and balancing
  • Conduct weekly and monthly reconciliations, audits, and report analysis; report results to franchise owners/operators
  • Ensure all equipment is operational and well-maintained
  • Provide technicians with necessary resources
  • Act as the primary communication interface with customers before, during, and after service
  • Greet guests enthusiastically and respectfully, demonstrating hospitality
  • Present clear repair solutions to customers honestly and effectively
  • Consistently sell services while maintaining integrity and honesty
  • Represent the organization professionally, embodying honesty and integrity
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Automotive Customer Service & Service Sales
  • Supervisory or management experience in the automotive industry
  • Proficiency in Windows-based software and automotive store applications
  • Experience with TekMetric software preferred, but not required
  • Industry-recognized service training certification preferred, but not required
  • ASE Service Consultant certification or equivalent experience
  • Acceptable driving record per insurance requirements
Physical Requirements
  • Standing and walking for most of the workday
  • Occasionally lifting objects over 50 lbs.
  • Driving manual transmission vehicles
  • Maintaining a brisk pace in a high-volume environment
  • Using a keyboard and mouse frequently
