Job summary

The Hertrich Family of Dealerships seeks an Automotive Service Manager to lead the service department on the Delmarva Peninsula. This role focuses on elevating customer satisfaction, operational efficiency, and team development in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates bring 2–3 years of service management, strong leadership, and a proven record in high-volume operations. Relocation to Delaware or Maryland’s Eastern Shore is welcome.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of Automotive Service Management experience.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proven success in high-volume service operations.
• Solid understanding of dealership systems (DealerTrack preferred).
• Willingness to relocate to Delaware or Maryland's Eastern Shore.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily service department operations.
• Drive customer satisfaction, CSI, and retention.
• Coach, train, and develop Advisors and Technicians.
• Manage workflow, productivity, and repair order efficiency.
• Monitor KPIs, financial performance, and service metrics.
• Ensure compliance with dealership and manufacturer standards.
• Build a positive, high-performance service culture.
