Job summary

VIP, Inc. is seeking a Manager-in-Training to learn VIP culture and management processes, lead a team, and ensure safe, compliant operations at the Marshfield location. You will drive exceptional customer experience and support VIP programs and standards.

The MIT role emphasizes learning to hire, coach, schedule, train, and supervise staff while meeting all safety and service targets in a dynamic automotive environment.

Qualifications

• Two years related experience in automotive service management.
• Completion of two-year college or technical school program recommended.
• Or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Current, valid driver’s license issued in state of residence.
• ASE Certification P2 – Parts Specialist recommended.
• ASE Certification G1 – Maintenance and light repair recommended.
• State Inspection License required (where applicable).

Responsibilities

• Holds safety as priority and ensures policies are followed.
• Learn VIP processes and build an Extraordinary Team.
• Hire, develop, coach and evaluate store associates to standards.
• Schedule the team to meet customer needs during all hours.
• Communicate effectively with the team and conduct meetings.
• Train and support the 5 for 5 process with customers.
• Oversee work order dispatch to qualified technicians.
• Attend off-site trainings as needed.
• Maintain facility and equipment in good condition.
• Ensure compliance with codes and company policies.
