Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience in the automotive repair industry.
• Previous experience mentoring technicians preferred.
• Strong technical acumen of automotive repair standards, tools, processes, etc.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assess their tire and automotive service needs with a professional, customer-focused approach.
• Learn to interview, select and train service technicians, developing technical expertise to align with business needs.
• Assist in evaluating knowledge and performance of technicians; provide input on development, promotions, merit, or discipline.
• Assist in managing store performance goals including service sales dollars, gross profit, customer satisfaction, employee safety, productivity and efficiency.
• Assist in overseeing daily work orders including time, tools, materials and equipment needed.
• Provide technical expertise and support diagnosis for general and complex service requests for all makes and models.
• Support training to ensure continuous skill improvement for all technician levels.
• Oversee safe operations and proper use/maintenance of shop tools and equipment; assist with replacements.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
• Maintain store cleanliness, organization and inventory management.
• Analyze financial and operational data to identify trends and support improvement plans.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and resolve escalated concerns promptly.
• Manage inventory needs of the shop and assist in timely operations.
• Help lead a culture of safety, accountability and operational excellence with the team.
• Meet flexible schedules including early mornings, evenings and weekends.
