Security Dodge Chrysler Jeep RAM in Amityville, NY is hiring an Auto Dealership Assistant Service Manager with proven Service Advisor/Writer experience to support the Service Manager and run a high-volume service department.

This full-time position offers weekly pay of $600–$800, possible commission, excellent benefits, tuition assistance via Strayer, and opportunities for career growth in a state-of-the-art, climate-controlled shop.

Qualifications

• Required: Automotive Service Writer, Advisor experience
• Preferred: Automotive Assistant Service Manager experience
• Good managerial, customer service, and communication skills
• Team-oriented, organized and customer-focused with a commitment to quality and efficiency
• Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Assist with profitable operation of the Service Department and support the Service Manager
• Explain maintenance and repair services to customers and create estimates
• Help ensure customer satisfaction and accurate completion of service orders
• Contribute to reporting of timecards and work orders and assist Parts with parts requests
• Maintain orderly reception and shop areas and support other departments as needed
• Support Training and scheduling of reception staff and maintain policy compliance
