Responsibilities
As an Automotive Service Manager, you will oversee all automotive and general service technicians, including:
- Providing exceptional customer service by listening and consulting with customers
- Following up on services requested, estimated completion times, etc.
- Overseeing vehicle inspections and making comprehensive recommendations—building repair orders and sourcing parts
- Discussing pricing estimates with customers and promoting shop specials
- Leading, managing, and training the team while aligning with our company's vision, purpose, core values, and employee creed
- Supervising up to ten employees
- Overseeing inspections, diagnostics, and repairs of domestic, European, and Asian vehicles and light trucks
- Maintaining inventory counts
- Ensuring overall cleanliness and organization of the facility
- Performing other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of store or service management experience
- General automotive knowledge
- Excellent customer service skills
- Good communication skills
- Leadership and team-building abilities
- Flexibility to work retail hours, including weekends, evenings, and holidays
- Valid driver’s license
