Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience leading an automotive service department or similar management role.
• Proven ability to set and achieve clear targets and performance goals.
• Strong skills in attracting, developing, and retaining top service talent.
• Comfort with using service technology and modern dealership tools.
• Experience with technology.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Willingness to undergo a background check.
• 18+ years of age.

Responsibilities

• Set a clear vision and goals for the Service Department to meet performance targets.
• Drive an efficient service operation to service customers quickly and correctly.
• Engage and motivate the team to achieve goals and follow Napleton processes.

• Ensure the Service area is customer-ready with proper displays and information.
• Manage the business per Napleton and manufacturer requirements and processes.
• Analyze the business to identify opportunities and develop improvement plans.
• Lead day-to-day operations to drive the business.

The Ed Napleton Automotive Group is looking for our next Automotive Service Director. This is an exciting opportunity in a growing, fast-paced industry. Located at Napleton Mid Rivers Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram Fiat, the Automotive Service Director is the leader of the Service Department within Napleton’s dealerships. This role drives the performance of the Service Area by attracting, developing, and retaining great talent and creating exceptional service experiences for our customers.

Job Responsibilities:

• Setting a clear vision and goals for the Service Department to achieve targeted performance goals.
• Driving a highly efficient sales and production operation to quickly service Customers while ensuring a fix it right the first time, experience
• Engaging and motivating the team to achieve key goals and performance expectations following Napleton’s processes
• Attracting, developing, and retaining the very best talent for the Service Department.
• Creating an exceptional customer experience to drive customer loyalty
• Ensuring the Service area is customer-customer ready with proper displays and information
• Managing the business in accordance with Napleton and the manufacturer requirements and processes
• Analyzing the business to determine opportunities and developing actions plans to improve performance
• Driving the business though day to day involvement in the operations

Job Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Automotive Service Management experience
• Ability to set and achieve targeted goals
• Ability to attract, develop, and retain talent.
• Experience and desire to work with technology
• Valid Driver’s License and have and maintain an acceptable driving record.
• Willingness to undergo a background check in accordance with local law/regulations
• 18+ years of age or older to comply with the company driving policy
