Automotive Service Advisor

Lindsay Chevrolet currently has an immediate opening for a Service Advisor - GM experience a plus.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Greet service customers promptly in a professional and courteous manner.
  2. Inspect vehicles and refer to service history to accurately identify and verify customer’s service needs.
  3. Promote sales of appropriate services, parts, and accessories by understanding the products and service requirements.
  4. Provide accurate cost and time estimates for services, communicate with customers, and obtain proper authorization.
  5. Monitor the progress of vehicle services and contact customers regarding any changes in estimates, delivery times, or services.
  6. Administer warranty repairs in accordance with manufacturer guidelines.
  7. Confirm service appointments and conduct post-repair follow-ups.
  8. Inspect vehicles before delivery to ensure quality and communicate results to customers.
  9. Comply with all applicable laws and regulations regarding automobile repair and consumer protection.
  10. Demonstrate behaviors aligned with the company’s values in all interactions.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Two or more years of experience as a service advisor.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
  • Great attitude and high-energy personality.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Professional appearance and strong work ethic.
  • Ability to work effectively in a process-driven environment.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
