Automotive Service Advisor - Glen Burnie, MD

As a Service Advisor with i.g. Burton Auto Group, you will provide outstanding service to our customers. This position acts as the liaison between the Service Technicians and customers. You will explain necessary repairs and routine maintenance, ensuring the customer is fully satisfied and leaves happy with their vehicle. This position is Monday-Friday with NO WEEKEND WORK.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Greet service department customers promptly and courteously—attitude is everything!
  2. Listen to customers and clearly communicate repair needs to technicians
  3. Inform customers of needed or recommended factory maintenance
  4. Provide accurate repair and maintenance estimates
  5. Adhere to policies on vehicle care and operation
  6. Follow up on each repair and keep customers informed of progress
  7. Manage extended service contracts
  8. Inspect repair quality and ensure all work is complete
  9. Notify customers when vehicles are ready for pickup
  10. Review and explain repairs and associated costs with customers
  11. Handle minor customer concerns and complaints
  12. Keep the Service Manager informed of all issues and potential problems
  13. Maintain Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) scores in line with dealership standards
Job Qualifications
  1. Dealership experience is a plus
  2. Bi-lingual skills are a huge plus
  3. Energetic and proactive attitude
  4. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  5. A passion for cars and helping customers with their vehicle needs
  6. Experience with Reynolds & Reynolds software is a plus
  7. Sales experience
