Geoff Penske GMC is looking for an experienced Service Advisor to join our award-winning service department team to provide our customers with exceptional experiences. The ideal candidate will flourish in a fast-paced and professional workplace.
Responsibilities
- Manage a team of technicians through scheduling and assigning work
- Provide quality, friendly, professional customer service
- Demonstrates behaviors consistent with the Company's Values in all interactions with customers, co-workers and vendors
- Communicate directly with technicians regarding the status of the service work as well as the estimated time for completion so that customers can be informed
- Comply with all company safety policies and procedures
- Efficiently and accurately ensure quality repair work in accordance with dealerships and factory standards
Qualifications
- Strong listening skills
- Service advisor experience preferred
- GM exprerience preferred
- Automotive Technical/Trade school degree
- Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specifications
- Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment
- Positive, friendly attitude, along with a customer service mentality
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Math, Reading and Basic Computer skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Professional appearance and work ethic
- Must have a valid PA driver's license with good driving record
