Job summary

Grubbs Acura Tulsa is seeking an Automotive Service Advisor to be the first contact for customers requesting maintenance or repairs. You will listen to concerns, document issues, and coordinate service appointments to ensure accurate estimates and clear communication throughout the process.

The role emphasizes exceptional customer service, proficiency with automotive systems, and the ability to upsell services while maintaining high standards of professionalism in a dealership environment.

• Proven experience as an Automotive Service Advisor or similar role in the automotive industry.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and conduct initial inspections of vehicles to understand issues.
• Listen carefully to customer concerns and document them accurately.
• Provide explanations and recommendations regarding repairs and maintenance.
• Schedule service appointments and ensure efficient use of workshop resources.
• Coordinate with service technicians to prioritize repairs based on customer needs and workshop capacity.
• Follow up with customers during and after service to ensure satisfaction.
• Prepare accurate cost estimates for labor and parts based on technician assessments and service manuals.
• Explain estimates to customers, addressing any questions or concerns they may have.
• Create and maintain detailed service records and documentation.
• Process invoices and payments accurately.
• Manage warranty claims and paperwork as required.
• Stay updated on automotive technology and service trends.
• Provide basic technical advice to customers when appropriate.
• Educate customers on maintenance and care requirements to prolong vehicle lifespan.
• Recommend preventive maintenance based on vehicle history and manufacturer guidelines.

As an Automotive Service Advisor, you will be the first point of contact for customers requiring automotive maintenance or repairs. Key Responsibilities:
