Job summary

AAA Club Alliance is seeking an Automotive Service Advisor in Milford, OH to be the bridge between customers and in-shop technicians. You will guide customers through repairs, explain service needs clearly, and ensure an outstanding customer experience.

The role requires a High School Diploma (or equivalent), automotive knowledge, and strong communication skills. A valid USA driver’s license and work authorization are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 3 years in fast-paced customer service/sales or automotive industry experience.
• Knowledge of automotive technology and ability to explain service needs clearly.
• ASE Service Advisor Certification a plus, but not required.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Authorized to work in the USA.
• Ability to pass pre-employment screenings (background check, drug screening).

Responsibilities

• Greet customers, answer calls, and schedule appointments promptly and courteously.
• Review recommended repairs and services with customers to ensure clarity and understanding.
• Communicate updates if costs, timing, or scope of work change, documenting approvals accurately.
• Distribute work to shop technicians and track progress to ensure timely, high-quality results.
• Coordinate warranty repairs, towing services, shuttles, or rental vehicles as needed.
• Monitor upcoming inspection and maintenance schedules, proactively notifying customers when service is due.
• Other duties as assigned.

What We Offer:

The starting base compensation for this position is $21.50/hr. Actual pay will be based on factors such as applicant experience and geographic location. Additional earning potential through monthly performance bonuses, spiffs, and contests!

Schedule:

Full-time, 5 days per week. Team members are required to work Saturdays as part of their regular schedule. The workweek includes one scheduled day off during the week and Sundays off. Additional schedule adjustments may be made based on business needs and approved time off.

Your Impact as an Automotive Service Advisor:

What You’ll Bring:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience in the automotive industry preferred, or at least three years in a fast-paced customer service/sales role with a strong record of success.
• Knowledge of automotive technology and ability to communicate service needs clearly to customers and technicians.
• ASE Service Advisor Certification a plus, but not required.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Strong communication skills for collaborating with the team.
• Authorized to work in the USA.
• Ability to pass pre-employment screenings if offered a position (background check, drug screening).
